Manchester United In 2003, Ronaldo signed a contract with Manchester United, where he made United’s fans quickly forget David Beckham. With a great squad, Chelsea started it’s dynasty in England, winning the Premier League in that year. But Ronaldo was known as a great revelation with the jersey number 7. This number is magical for the Manchester side - three of the main legends in the history of the club had the number 7 in the back (George Best, Eric Cantona and David Beckham).

After a not so brilliant start, Ronaldo started little by little to honor the number 7. He scored goal number 1000 in Premiership for Manchester United in 2005. In 2006, he scored in the Carling Cup Final and helped to win the trophy. But it was finally last season the World could see what this Portuguese boy could do. Cristiano Ronaldo finally won a Premiership title with the Red Devils. Elected the best player in England on the 2006/2007 season, Cristiano Ronaldo was the “key” for the Manchester United’s championship after four years and finishing Chelsea’s dynasty. Besides, he took the United to the semis of UEFA Champions League, when a painful loss to Milan ended the dream of the third title of the League.
